Markham toddler found unconscious in family pool

An 18-month-old boy is clinging to life after he was found lying face down in his family's backyard pool yesterday.York police said the Markham toddler managed to get out the back door of the home and crawl toward the pool. It wasn't until his father went out to look for him that he found him unconscious in the in-ground swimming pool about 12:30 p.m.

Family of missing woman fears she was abducted

Fire strikes prestigious golf course

Golfer Shawn McCann tees off on the 14th hole at the Oakville Executive Golf Course yesterday, the burned-out clubhouse behind him.
